Negative keyword tool pricing for agencies

A negative keyword tool for an agency costs from 49 USD per month for one account up to 499 USD per month for 50 accounts with shared lists, roles and white-label reports. Compare plans by cost per client, spend cap and seats, not by the entry price.

What agencies actually pay for

Pricing for a negative keyword tool rarely comes down to the sticker price. It comes down to how many client accounts a plan covers, how much monthly ad spend it allows and how many people on your team can log in. A low entry price that caps you at one account is more expensive per client than a higher plan that covers fifty.

So start with your own numbers. Count the client accounts you run on Search, add the combined monthly spend and count the people who touch search terms. Those three figures decide which tier you can use at all, before features come into it.

The four pricing models you will meet

Flat plans by account count. You pay a fixed monthly fee for a set number of ad accounts. This is the easiest to budget. The risk is a jump when you add the account just over the limit.

Percentage of ad spend. Common in broad PPC suites. The bill grows with every client you scale, even when the negative keyword work stays the same size. For a focused task like exclusions this is usually a poor fit, since a bigger budget does not mean more review effort.

Per seat. Fine for small teams. It punishes agencies that give account managers, analysts and clients view access.

Usage or credits. Sometimes tied to the number of queries analyzed. Hard to forecast, and a long search terms report can burn through it before you see a result.

Ask every vendor which of the four applies, and what happens at the limit. Some tools stop applying changes. Others bill overage without warning.

What NegativeKeywords costs

NegativeKeywords uses flat plans with published limits. Starter is 49 USD per month, or 24 USD per month billed yearly, for one Google Ads account and up to 10 000 USD of monthly ad spend. Growth is 149 USD per month for 5 accounts and adds autopilot rules and Microsoft and Amazon Ads support.

Agency is 499 USD per month, or 249 USD per month billed yearly at 2 988 USD. It covers 50 accounts and up to 500 000 USD in monthly ad spend, with 15 seats, roles, shared negative lists and white-label reports. Enterprise is 999 USD per month, or 499 USD per month billed yearly, with unlimited accounts, spend and seats. The pricing page lists every limit.

Cost per client is the number that matters

Divide the plan by the accounts you really run. An agency with 12 clients on the Agency plan pays about 42 USD per client per month at the monthly rate, and about 21 USD billed yearly. At 40 clients the figure drops to roughly 12 USD and 6 USD. The same agency on five separate Starter plans would pay 245 USD for five accounts and still have no shared lists.

Compare that to the time you spend today. If an account manager spends two hours a month on search terms per client, the saving from catching a few percent of waste, plus the hours returned, usually covers the fee many times over. Measure it with a real export rather than a guess, which is what the demo does.

What a cheap plan leaves out

Low prices often hide gaps that agencies feel at once. Look for these before you sign.

  • No conflict check. The tool can add a negative that blocks a keyword you bid on. One mistake like that costs more than a year of fees.
  • No audit trail or undo. You cannot show a client what changed. The Agency plan keeps 2 years of history.
  • No client reporting. You end up building slides by hand. White-label reports remove that step, as the white-label reports page shows.
  • Shared logins. Safe access uses OAuth and roles per person.
  • Single network. Fine if you only run Google, painful once a client adds Microsoft Advertising.

The longer buyer list is in the negative keyword software checklist.

Broad suites versus a focused tool

If a client needs ad testing, budget pacing and audits, a broad suite earns its price. If your actual pain is wasted search spend, paying for a whole suite means paying for modules nobody opens. Compare the scope of the Optmyzr alternative, the Adalysis alternative and the Opteo alternative pages, and keep the suite if you will use most of it.

Many agencies run both. The suite handles ads and bids, the focused tool handles search terms with approval and undo. That split is also easier to explain to clients, since each line item has one clear job. For the full agency workflow see PPC management for agencies.

A simple way to decide

Write down three numbers: accounts, monthly spend and seats. Pick the smallest plan that covers all three with room for the next six months. Then run one real export through the tool and read the reasons it gives for each flagged query. If you trust the reasons, the plan pays for itself in saved spend. If you do not, keep looking.

Once wasted clicks are under control, many agencies turn to fresh creative for the same campaigns, and an AI UGC ad generator that builds video ads from a product URL is a natural next step for ecommerce clients.

Questions agencies ask

How much does a negative keyword tool cost for an agency? Plans for agencies range widely. NegativeKeywords Agency is 499 USD per month, or 249 USD per month billed yearly, for 50 accounts and 15 seats. Check the account cap, spend cap and seat count before comparing any other tool.

Is there a per-client fee on top? No. Account limits are part of the plan, so adding clients up to the limit does not change the bill.

Can I cancel any time? Yes. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

Do I need the Agency plan for two clients? Probably not. Two or three accounts fit Growth, which covers 5 accounts. Move up when you need shared lists, roles or white-label reports.
